We are a provider in the field of dog waste removal. We develop innovative dog waste removal systems - from the initial idea to the final product in line with market conditions. We emphasize an excellent function and a beautiful design. We expect our solutions to be of high quality and technology. In order to meet this aim, we always use the most advanced technologies.

History

Year 1961
Mr. Kaspar Mosimann established a one-man business named practica with head office in CH-6014 Littau-Lucerne. In our workshop we manufactured benches for municipalities and towns and later on also coat-stands for restaurants. However, yet in the year 1957 he had his special bench for public spaces patented under N° 343'088. This bench is still sold nowadays, though slightly modified.




Year 1976
As the problem of dog waste grew in towns and villages, there was a growing demand for dog toilets. At that time there were fenced sandpits in which dogs “should do their business”. For this purpose, Practica manufactured devices like bins, scoop and rake, information boards etc.




Year 1977
Collaboration of Walter Mosimann, the son of Kaspar Mosimann, in sales, administration and production.

Year 1984
Kaspar Mosimann retired from active business, but still collaborated with the company.

1985-04-29
For the first time the company was entered in the Commercial Register: As a one-man business named Practica W. Mosimann with head office in Littau-Lucerne under the Commercial Register number CH-100.1.002.300-6.

29.04.1987
The first dog waste bin with dispenser for dog waste bags was manufactured and sold. The sandpit toilets were no longer produced.

Year 2000
The one-man business Practica W. Mosimann was dissolved and converted into an AG (public limited company). Hubert Mosimann joined the Management Board as a shareholder, as well as Walter Mosimann’s wife, Mathilde Mosimann.

Year 2001
The name bello was changed to "belloo" and represents the trademark for the dog waste disposal business. Walter’s son, Severin Mosimann, joined the company. He started working as our sales assistant, later as the person responsible for IT and as our product developer.




Year 2002
A warehouse for export was run in Weil am Rhein and from the middle of 2007 at the transport company Streck in Lörrach.

Year 2005
In July 2005 we moved to our new offices and depots in 20 Bahnhofstrasse, 6030 Ebikon.




Year 2006
Foundation of the company Practica S.r.l. in Como, Italy, as a subsidiary of the company Practica AG Ebikon.

Year 2007
A new product line was introduced: The contuu products as a trademark for the range of waste disposal. New litter bins and ashtrays were developed and marketed under this name.
